ParentConnect has just launched in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas! We're focusing on building strong communities in these cities first with real parents and authentic connections - no fake accounts or bots.
If you're outside these areas, you may not see much content yet. We're monitoring where new users join from and will expand to your area as our community grows. The good news: you'll get push notifications as soon as events, places, or posts are added in your location!
Want to help us get there faster? Use the "Recommend App" feature (tap the circular button on your main screens) to invite other parents in your area. The more parents who join from your location, the sooner we can expand there!
Use the Friend Discovery feature in your Profile to connect with nearby parents. You can also check the Posts tab for local posts and events. Your privacy settings control who can see your profile and how you appear in search results.
Yes, you have full control over what's shared. We only store your children's names, ages, interests, allergies, and any notes you add. In Privacy Settings, you can choose whether to share children's information with other parents - we never share photos, school names, or specific locations. You can update these settings anytime.
If you encounter inappropriate content or behavior, please contact our support team immediately. Include details about what happened, the other parent's name if known, and any screenshots if applicable. We take safety seriously and investigate all reports promptly.
Browse the Posts tab or use Friend Discovery to find parents with children of similar ages. Send them a direct message to introduce yourself and suggest a meetup. Always meet in public places initially, and consider group events for first meetings. You can also post in the Posts asking if other parents are interested in specific events.
First, try closing and reopening the app. If issues persist, check your internet connection and update to the latest app version in your app store. For login problems, ensure you're using the correct email and password. If you're still having trouble, contact support with details about the specific problem.
Go to Profile > Notification Settings. You can control which types of notifications you receive (friend requests, messages, posts, etc.) and enable/disable push notifications entirely. Make sure to allow notifications in your device settings if you want to receive them.
Absolutely! You can manually enter your general area in your profile without enabling GPS tracking. This lets you connect with nearby parents while keeping your exact location private. Some features may be less precise, but all core features work without GPS.
Go to Profile > Privacy Settings > Delete Account. This will permanently remove your profile, children's information, messages, and all associated data. The process requires password confirmation and cannot be undone. You can optionally export your data before deletion.
You can find and connect with other parents through the Friend Discovery feature in your Profile. Send friend requests to parents you'd like to connect with. You can also engage with others through the posts and comments.
You have extensive privacy controls in your Privacy Settings. You can control who sees your profile, whether to share children's information, allow direct messages, and much more. All settings can be updated anytime to match your comfort level.
